It starts with paid family leave for men AND women including paid leave time that the man spends with the baby solo. Men need to realize from the beginning that they are capable and equal parents/partners. Raising the children and taking care of the home should not be seen as "women's work." Once there is 1-2 generations of this, we'll be closer to gender equality.
What’s wrong with it being “women’s work”? It’s painfully obvious when looking at all living species, that mothers are the primary parent. I have a career, but only out of necessity. I would love to be able to devote myself fully to raising my kids. It’s not for all women, but lots of us dig it.
