I don’t know if this has been mentioned yet, but he has a tattoo that reads “Deus Vult.” The guy pines for the days of the Crusades. Awesome.
He was probably such a joy as a Guantanamo guard. Jesus would be so proud of him I’m sure.
Would you prefer kindly, gentle social workers and nurses as guards?
That’s but the only other option. Professional, ethical, and not sadistic or racist would be cool.
Sadistic, not acceptable. Better yet, don't commit crimes.
Most of the people in gitmo didn’t commit crimes. 86% weren’t even captured by US forces. Most detainees were sold to the US for enormous bounties. The US flew planes over parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan offering $5,000 for any “suspicious person.” This amounted to approximately seven years’ average salary for most people in the area, encouraging them to turn over innocent men in exchange for a life-changing amount of money. Terrorists in the taliban actually called the tipster line as well to report people and were even paid by the US. As early as 2002, Guantanamo’s operational commander complained that he was being sent too many “mickey mouse” detainees. Soft spoken mousy guys not hardened terrorists/militants. Trump has one thing right: we are a very stupid country
