Correct. The campaign would probably prefer not to release the video, because what it would show would probably result in the ANC staffer coming under immediate calls to be fired. And that would make the staffer a martyr and a sympathetic figure in the media coverage. “Big bad orange man gets working single parent fired from government job, booo hoooo”, or headlines to that effect.
