The fact that you think this child is unique shows how out of touch you are with the current reality teachers face.

My sister quit teaching last year. Why? Because she was stabbed by a student with a pencil. For the THIRD time. The admins, the APs and the Principal, all told her that if she pursued charges on her own, it would reflect negatively on her file.

Other than law enforcement, there are no other careers where an employee would have to accept being physically assaulted as a normal reality other than teaching.  [/quote]
