From what I've seen in over 20 years in the private sector, that social hierarchy, arrogance, and self-confidence – which is all fortified in high school – is how you get big promotions and raises. I don't know why people pretend being humble, coming from diverse schools, or even being "smart" for that matter is how you get ahead in life. [/quote]
I would be very disappointed if my kid turned out like this -- arrogant. Self confidence doesn't mean arrogant.

Also, agree with the earlier poster about the arrogance of W students. For schools with low FARMS they seem pretty average and the drug and racial issues that seem to pervade them seem very problematic.[/quote]
