I’m an R and I would actually vote for her.  Why?  She actually cares about education.  She done a lot to advocate for evidence-based reading instruction.

I do hate that she seemed to ignore/minimize the detrimental effects of school closure on black/brown kids.  She sided with the teachers and that was huge mistake.  [/quote]

That's really the only positive (to most Dranesville voters) she could point to - and there are plenty of negatives.  At the end of the day, it would be like Melanie Meren on steroids in terms of annoying faux wokeness. [/quote]

If she can get FCPS to use evidence-based programs for reading and math and implement them with fidelity, I don’t care what her politics are.  [/quote]
