I just order more than usual and try to pick things that freeze well. Before Sandy, when we didn't know where it was going to hit, I ordered, pizza, Chinese, Mexican, and Thai and called it a day. I have a similar situation to OP and am not generally nervous, so no interest in piling up bags of beans and rice in my living room. I am buying some backup things for possible corona quarantine, but as someone who orders in a ton, also ordering the extra and freezing![/quote]
