What I don't understand, with charging way above market rates for all of their rec/revenue teams...why doesn't Valor hire better coaches? Do the people in charge not know what a good coach looks like? Are they cheaping out on coach pay such that they can only get inexperienced coaches or parents? Because that is who they hire. It really doesn't make sense.[/quote]I think part of the issue is management from the top. There seems to be very few standards and consistency pushed down. [b]It feels more like coaches are able to go rogue other than adhering to the 5 tourney[/b]s assigned each year. Practices and technical development vary completely and there is very little standardization. This creates a number of issues that parents may not understand unless they go elsewhere. Once you do go elsewhere, you start to see what a more professionally run club looks like. Valor’s growing pains from 2021 are now in the past. There should be some club identity, but there isnt.[/quote]
