I am not surprised, Dems overplayed their hand campaigning on abortion. Yes, it is a very important issue, but most people are not getting abortions all the time. [b]Only around 25% of women have an abortion in their lifetime[/b]. People do however buy groceries every week and worry about the safety of themselves/children all the time. Abortion is a very salient issue, but inflation, crime, and immigration are more important to most voters. [/quote]

“Only 25% of half the population”, that’s actually a huge number. People don’t think they’ll need an abortion until they actually do (including miscarriage care). However I knew it just wasn’t that important for many voters.[/quote]
