No, it's a zero-sum system.  Ds take from those who have, to give to those who don't have, often without rhyme or reason apart from a fundamentally Communist notion that nobody should have any more than anyone else, without regard to merit, effort, or initiative.

If billionaires paid their fair share of taxes, they wouldn’t miss that money in the slightest.  It’s not like they’re using it for anything worthwhile.  Another Monet for their seventeenth villa in Italy? A yacht for their yacht?  Quack immortality treatments?  A few Congresspeople here and there?  After a certain point, it’s pure excess.  And as we’re all seeing with the release of the Epstein files, there is a level of wealth at which there is no accountability. It’s looking more and more like extreme wealth creates monsters. That alone should be enough to tax centibillionaires out of existence.

And if you don’t think billionaires owe anything to anyone, there is the fact that they made their billions in the first place by leveraging public infrastructure paid for by we the people.[/quote]
