Totally. Maybe OP's son doesn't enjoy shopping. And they are currently in FL. Can't exactly go out and try a bunch of boots. And it's a process and an investment, and mom doesn't want to waste money on something a teenage boy may not wear no matter what's good for him. Geesh.[/quote]

OP here. Why are you speaking for me?  My son did ask me for advice.  He has no idea what kids wear or what is needed.

Is your life this empty that you have to pick on a stranger about something as stupid as whether or not college kids or Maine residents need snow boots?

You need to get out more, have sex more or vacation more.  Your behavior is not normal.
