Not OP but in the same boat - want to buy EV or maybe lease it and need AWD, why all of them are priced same - around 60K insane!! have tried Honda Prolouge - very mediocre , Ionic 5 - promising, not 100% sold on look, Lexus RZ - very low range, Kia E6, Volvo - total disappointment with interiors and touch screen panel, out of all of them loved Tesla Y but will not buy, people tell me to keep emotions aside but cannot and will not. might settle on Ionic 5 and wait for R1 to launch. need to decide fast, hopefully thinking through this correctly
You might take a look at the Equinox EV. There are several trim levels (and have AWD versions), but if none of them meet your standards, you can also look at the Cadillac Optiq, which is Cadillac's version of it. Another option is the BMW i4 which also has an AWD version. There are great leases on the Equinox EV but there are also lots of incentives. So you can get a good deal either buying or leasing. For the BMW, leasing might be a better option since the $7,500 lease loophole can be used.
