Are you guys dumb? She states multiple times in the tape that she is so flattered he came to her to ask her persmission to include her in his lyrics. He tells her he has not written the song yet but wanted to connect with her to collect her thoughts on what his idea for this song was. She gives her consent regarding the lyric that says”Taylor might still owe me sex” and even, “ I made her famous” She says she will tell the media at the Grammys that Kanye called her and asked her permission. She says people might find the idea of them having sex odd, but she understands what he is doing as he is edgy and it is a part of his brand and persona. She thinks it’s funny and flattering. And then, when he releases the song, she makes drama about all of it. Lies and says Kanye never asked her permission and she didn’t know about it. In later versions of her statement she says ok yes she never approved “that b” part, which honestly, sounds like lawyer-speak to me. It sounds like she gave her consent to the song, as evidenced in the phone call. Then when the song released, she realized she did not want to associate that with her brand, and turned the tables on Kanye an claimed abuse. She is very manipulative and very clever and dances circles around Kanye while the poor man obviously suffers from bipolar disorder. By publicly shaming him and claiming to be a victim, she is bullying an already sick man!! She understood and approved the sentiment behind the reference made to her in his song. Approved it and was flattered that he even asked! Regardless of the minor detail of “that b”
Eh. I don’t think so. She was pretty consistent in not wanting to be called a B. She didn’t want it to be negative. He made it negative. Why did he bother asking her about it if he was going to ignore her and call her a B anyway? I think she has moved on from Kanye, like most everyone has, because it’s so clear he has serious mental illness. Taylor’s issue seems to be with Kim, who illegally recorded their conversation and then edited it and released it to make her look bad. I’d have a problem with that too. https://variety.com/2020/music/news/taylor-swift-kanye-west-phone-call-leaks-read-full-transcript-1203541363/amp/
