Not a PSU fan—I went to Pitt and think it’s the better school! PSU is broke and not academically rigorous. But it attracts more students and applicants because it is fun and accessible! Pitt positions its undergraduate program as a safety school for top universities. That’s fine! But it’s a different business model than PSU. You get higher SAT scores, better outcomes (especially for grad school) but also less fun and worse vibes.[/quote]
