These people remind me of all the administrators at the university where I work.  they are absolutely convinced that they are earning their huge salaries by going to lunches, being on panels.  The problem is that no one in the faculty, student body, staff, or the parents who are paying would agree.  And they are completely oblivious to this.  They think because they use long sentences with a lot of abstract nouns, they must be doing something important.  It is bloating university costs.  This seems like good money that could have gone directly to scientists is allowing the aristocracy to feel like they have an interesting, important job.[/quote]

I agree. I voted for Biden but as a cancer patient this makes me sick. Money needs to go directly to research. New research. So much money wasted paying huge salaries to people doing nothing but listening to themselves talk. We don’t need more non researchers putting their greedy hands in the cancer pot. [/quote]
