Wonder how many of these employees will be tapped to serve in Biden's administration.
A cancer charity started by Joe Biden gave out no money to research, and spent most of its contributions on staff salaries, federal filings show. The Biden Cancer Initiative was founded in 2017 by the former vice president and his wife Jill Biden to help find “solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention” and help find a cure, but gave out no grants in its first two years, and spent millions on the salaries of former Washington DC aides it hired. The charity took in $4,809,619 in contributions in fiscal years 2017 and 2018, and spent $3,070,301 on payroll in those two years. The group’s president, Gregory Simon, raked in $429,850 in fiscal 2018 (July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019), according to the charity’s most recent federal tax filings. Simon, a former Pfizer executive and longtime health care lobbyist who headed up the White Houses’s cancer task force in the Obama administration, saw his salary nearly double from the $224,539 he made in fiscal 2017, tax filings show. Danielle Carnival, former chief of staff for Obama’s cancer initiative, the Cancer Moonshot Task Force, who took home $258,207 in 2018.
https://nypost.com/2020/11/14/biden-cancer-initiative-spent-millions-on-payroll-zero-on-research-report/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=NYPTwitter&utm_medium=SocialFlow
Normal. But it’s cute someone thinks this is a scandal.
I think it is a scandal. Unless they can articulate better what they are contributing, they don't deserve a salary greater than $200k per year. No way. This kind of artistocracy, of people taking salaries far more than they need, far more than they deserve, is destroying our nation. If Biden can be fooled by this type, it is a bad sign for our future.
And yet, you support Trump. As a nonprofit executive, this drives me crazy. No one wants to fund overhead, which actually makes everything more efficient. It doesn't help if nonprofits don't speak to each other and understand what everyone's role is. What happens is that people end up duplicating efforts. The reason this happens is that no one wants to pay for the overhead to be strategic.
no I do not support trump. he makes me sick. so mr nonprofit executive, what is your salary? are you living a cozy life with two homes, private schools, and vacations abroad?
