I don't understand how anyone who cares about Palestinians and Gaza can think that Trump would be a better option: https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/24/politics/gaza-hostage-and-ceasefire-talks-us-election/index.html
There’s a long history of Republican presidents being tougher on Israel than Democrat ones. Im sure you wouldn’t understand it because it’s not your arena but the Democrat Party is the standard bearer for Israel and Netanyahu was foolish enough to squander that in half under the Obama administration because he was upset about the Iran deal and the settlement shaming though Obama was correct that the settlements endanger Israel and help bolster extremism. The reason 10/7 was even able to happen is because the IDF border crossing was half empty due to IDF having to be relocated to the WB settlements to protect the settlers. That’s how Hamas was able to cross over to Gaza via the Erez crossing: because of those stupid settlements all the way in the WB. The whole point of the WB and Gaza was for two very far apart states to make any singular Palestinian state impossible but dummy Netanyahu didn’t realize he made his own military splintered and compromised the same way by placing settlers in WB
The US pressure stopped with Dubya who was a pathetic idiot who allowed PM Olmert to humiliate him and Condi Rice at the UN on a resolution the US cosponsored. Olmert bragged within his country that he "demanded" Bush get on the phone and that he humiliated Rice (which he did because there's nothing more degrading as a superpower than being forced to abstain from your own resolution). Mind you, the article I'm linking to is from a right-wing Jewish paper highlighting that it's true what happened with Rice, but the ADL complaining it shouldn't have been said out loud by Olmert. In other words, we all know the US is led around by a leash, but Israelis themselves need to stop confirming it. Why wouldn't they? They know they get away with everything because of psychos here. https://forward.com/news/14957/olmert-s-boast-of-shaming-rice-provokes-di-03180/ James Baker never took their BS. Reagan was the last one who really put the most pressure on them, but guess who started dragging the US into the abyss for Israel due to his own Zionism? The current POS who "saw the beheaded babies."
