But if anyone thinks he hasn’t been enriching himself and his family as he’s gone along in his public service career, well, that’s probably naive. His BS maneuvering of the GDS land sale (Google if you need to) for MacArthur was what sealed it for me though. The land was assessed around $20M and DC paid over DOUBLE for it. Instantly disqualified because I could never trust him to make a decision that was in the best interest of DCPS/charter students. [/quote]
