But Trump won't be on the ballot. And neither will Vance. He has zero support anywhere outside of Peter Thiel and Silicon Valley. 2028 will be a fresh election for both parties. "Better than Trump" is not a winning strategy. That bar is in the basement and people will demand more than that. Democrats need a real candidate this time, someone who can plausibly get 8 years. And that is not Newsom. Someone like DeSantis or [b]Haley easily beats Newsom in every battleground state[/b].    [/quote].
