Joe was a short lived move-on drug and irrelevant. She either had an arrangement with Joe, or cheated on him with Matty Healy, or at the very least fantasized about it and wrote Illicit Affairs, Maroon, Cardigan, End Game, August and so on about Matty with the help of Jack Antonoff & Aaron Dessner. I am convinced they were in on it and encouraged her infatuation and inspiration for the sake of art (and $$$$$). In 2022 Jack produced both her and Matty’s albums, on which they have even more songs about each other. For example, About You and Snow On The Beach have identical intros and are clearly about the other. Matty admitted in an interview that he collaborated with Taylor in the studio on Midnights. Probably out of the studio too, lol.[/quote]
