It seems inevitable that Zionists will eventually pay a very, very painful price for the policies and actions of the State of Israel. I know they feel invincible at the moment, but the hubris, the immorality, the callous disregard for others, and the caterwauling about their own supposed existential fears (while indiscriminately murdering tens of thousands of actual innocent non-combatants) will lead to a terrible reckoning, I think.
The "reckoning" is what is befalling the Palestinians who supported Hamas. The hubris, the immorality, and callous disregard for others, and caterwauling are all behaviors of Hamas and its supporters. The murder, rapes and kidnappings of Israelis on Oct 7 is what has led to this. Put the blame where it belongs - on Hamas, and all those who supported that group when they thought they'd somehow achieve something positive through terror. What they achieved was an opportunity to understand what "never again" means to Israel. A hard lesson, but one Gaza asked for. If they've learned from it, Hamas could end the losses among "actual innocent non-combatants", even if they raised, supported, and encouraged their Hamas family members - just release the Israeli hostages and surrender. Oh, no, can't do that - it would be too much like asking for peace instead of abegging for continued violence to be visited upon all those Palestinians who previously were fine with Hamas as their government.
Moments of reckoning for others are separate issues, unrelated to the previous observation. Back to the point … When the Zionist movement is being taken behind the barn, I doubt the squealing and the emptiness of the “never again” threat will matter.
