This is the difference between those of us who believe we should enforce our border laws and get all those who are present illegally out of the country.

Right now, our CBP is doing a great job of preventing illegal immigration.  But, there is no guarantee that would be the case if another inept Democrat gets in power.  
The wall is an obstacle.  When it is combined with technology to detect breaches, it is quite effective.
