They got too comfortable based off of Obama’s popularity despite the fact that none of them are as good of politicians as he is. Obama’s popularity was so strong that it pushed Biden forward in his election. I remember that 2020 election, and plenty of people voted for Biden solely to “get back to normal” aka the Obama era.[/quote]

Biden rode Obamas coattails for sure and that can be okay if a VP is 20 years younger than the POTUS. As it is, we got stuck with the second worst POTUS ever who cleared a path for the worst ever POTUS to easily win a second term.
