It was odd to me that they went to immediate brain dissection (which would of course kill the patient) instead of running different experiments, hopefully with Ellie’s informed consent this time. Why immediately kill the one person who’d ever been immune without taking some time to strategize?

I mean I know it was to advance the plot of the game/show, but it never made much sense to me.[/quote]
