I can't say too much about it because of spoilers but they did seem to fall for each other quickly even in the game. It does seem rushed at the beginning but there is a bit of trauma bonding moving forward. I have explained it away in my head as things between them had been bubbling for a while. There was a scene in season 1 where a girl seem interested in Ellie when they first got to Jackson. 4 years later, it could be time for them to act on it.[/quote]
