The Ukrainians and US citizens want to support and arm the Ukrainian against the Russians. The Russians have kidnap thousands of Ukrainian children. The Ukrainian are fighting the Russians and do not need US soldiers. They need arms.

The US has given the Ukrainians about $23 billion over 3 years. The 300 billion number you are pushing is false. That number is created by Putin tell Trump the opportunity cost of not investing in Russia. So it is not a real number.

The US has shipped old out of date weapon systems to the Ukrainians. These weapon systems are shown on the books as original cost plus upgrade plus carrying cost plus replacement cost. So a 1980 m1 tanks is $500k original cost, 3 million upgrades, 45 years of interest/storage cost/maintenance/etc and cost of a new export M1a tank 24 million.
