What is with all of these kids chains about weight? Is this really so top of mind for people? Perhaps that is part of the problem!
I’m the OP of the thread about my thin daughter who eats a lot. I’m pretty sure my daughter eats much more than kids who are chubby. We eat a mix of healthy and unhealthy food. Most kids around us are thin. For me, I was trying to be preventative. Ha people obviously don’t agree with me and called me an awful mother, need therapy and said I probably have an eating disorder.
dp How would you know this? Let's face it most people who are fat eat too much and don't look at the serving size. I was guilty of that in the past. And then they say things that don't make sense like "I look at food and I get fat' No, the serving size for that cereal is 1/4 cup and you just poured yourself 2 1/2 cups of it. There are some foods you can eat a lot of and not get fat but, there are many foods you have to avoid if you tend to overeat them and many you need to watch your potions!
