Huh? Your post said “Try taking your kid to the colleges so they can see the campus and meet the coaches to find out if that is a school they might be interested in.” How else can this be interpreted? It’s important people understand coaches will violate NCAA rules if they meet / speak directly with players prior to Sept 1 of their junior year. [/quote]

Believe it or not, when you go to a camp you meet the coach. There is a difference between a recruiting meeting the coach and someone just going to a camp and meeting the coach. And there are different rules at camps/clinics. What do you expect coaches and players to do at these camps? Close their eyes and wear duct tape so there is no communication? No one is saying they have private meetings.
