In case anyone is interested, there is an in depth article in the Guardian about the restaurant and the protest.

Several staff were fired over violating the dress code by wearing Palestinian flag pins/colors. Several staff members also disapproved of the fundraisers the restaurant held for a charity that supports the IDF as well as paying for dinners of people that were flying to Israel to serve in the IDF.

The server who was inside the restaurant at the time of the protest thought it was peaceful and not antisemitic.

They article doesn't change the fundamental conclusion: a Jewish restaurant owner was targeted because he's Jewish, serves falafel, and organized a fundraiser for an Israeli medical charity.

What are you talking about?  It totally changes the conclusion.  The restaurant wasn't targeted because of the owner's religion, it was targeted for its anti-Palistinian actions.  And even the server who was inside the restaurant thought the protest was peaceful.[/quote]
