Goulet will just be an obstructionist on the council who really pushes through little policy other than saying "no" to everyone else's ideas. Duncan and Frumin both seem to be a little bit more liberal and YIMBY than Cheh (Duncan more so), but neither would be a significant ideological shift away from her. To me, it shows how capable and popular of a council member she was that very few in the race want to deviate from her policies and priorities. I hope Cheh's endorsement of Duncan pushes her over the finish line here. I'm voting for her.[/quote]

Goulet is the only candidate in the Ward 3 race who supports throwing money at RFK Stadium in hopes of bringing the terrible and corrupt Commanders/Washington Football Team/Redskins/Whatever franchise back to DC. [/quote]

Honestly, I was leaning in the Goulet direction as I thought it'd be good to have a person who can add numbers in the council. But then when this RFK/Out of DC support stuff came out, and I'm not sure he can add anymore. (RFK will be a money pit, bigger than any other money pit in DC history) Honestly I may just end up with Frumin as he was the one who wanted Western High at the current Ellington site from the get go.
