Goulet will just be an obstructionist on the council who really pushes through little policy other than saying "no" to everyone else's ideas. Duncan and Frumin both seem to be a little bit more liberal and YIMBY than Cheh (Duncan more so), but neither would be a significant ideological shift away from her. To me, it shows how capable and popular of a council member she was that very few in the race want to deviate from her policies and priorities. I hope Cheh's endorsement of Duncan pushes her over the finish line here. I'm voting for her.[/quote]

We consistently end with a budget surplus every single year. We need to make sure there is good oversight of the projects and agencies using the money, sure, but this idea that we are just throwing money at everything is really incorrect. Taxpayers' money should be used to help them and the community around them in whatever way possible, not just be left to sit around. Frumin, Goulet, and Duncan have all said they are not for increasing taxes (it doesn't make sense when we have a surplus), but I only trust Duncan and Frumin to actually work towards putting the money that we do have to good use.
