Have YOU taken a hard look around the entire country?  What never ceases to amaze me is how arrogant and self absorbed DMV folks like you are.  You think you know what is best for everyone based solely on the fact you live here.  That is your credential.  Your only one.   Read a paper (not WaPo) and know that the rest of the country think you are the clown, with no doubt the same fat body and a cloth mask - just like the trashy woman screaming in the store.[/quote]

This isn't about "the entire country" - it IS about the DMV (which includes Alexandria) since that's where Youngkin and the room he should've been reading is.

Want to know if masks and other mitigation work? Just look at the statistics. Virginia and DC are 41st and 43rd respectively in Covid deaths/million.

Hate to disappoint you, but I'm a 57-year-old, very fit woman who wears an N95 or KN95 when I go out because both my DH and I have medical conditions (that we were born with, BTW) that would make Covid challenging for us. And I pay attention to the science, like the new study showing that Covid infection can damage your cardiovascular system as much as smoking or obesity.
