But is it appropriation if done with respect towards our Jewish friends?  I think claiming it as a “Christian” holiday would be appropriation.  I think people of different faiths should recognize and celebrate other holidays.  Although Christ is the ascended master I most closely align with, I follow what most would see as a more pagan/Wicca path.  I love that more people are celebrating Eostre, for example. I think we build bridges when celebrate different spiritual holidays.  I guess that’s what led me to interfaith ministry and chaplaincy.[/quote]
