The regurgitation off talking points is unimaginative and boring. 1. The local “National Team Centers” are not ”National” or “Team” related “Centers”. They are local training sessions with local coaches. If your kid has gone (mine has), then thank your team coach. It’s a joke. People must stop confusing a Camp with a Center. Huge difference. 2. Plenty of ECNL kids go to the local NTC. Here’s the kicker...the DA coaches are using the local NTC to recruit the ECNL players to DA (which is their mission). 3. Locally, FCV is using the Centers as their personal recruiting Centers. NTCs are being run at Evergreen under the supervision of US Scouts (FCV staff) who then tell the ECNL players to move to DA for a chance of a NT Camp. I know for a fact this is happening. 3. The local ECNL clubs are trying to combat this by bending over backwards to give the players what they want. Insert parent politics. Here is reality. Your kid has a 99.9999999999 percent chance of smelling the bench of a YNT let along the USWNT. Why do you think the majority of YNT members come from the DA? USSF FORCES those players to leave their ECNL club and join their local DA (if one is available) when they get chosen for the YNT. Get it? I repeat All YNT members must leave their ECNL club if chosen..that’s why you think that they all come from DA when in reality they don’t.
It is really about where they end up playing that matters. If they stay at ECNL they will no longer be invited.
Nothing worse than rookie parents. They’re either overly aggressive with the propaganda or gullible. Get invited where? The fake VA training center? Lol. I know parents who use personal trainers, who are also US Scouts, and mysterious get an NTC invite based on their recommendations. Here’s is counter sales pitch. You kid, just like 99.9 percent of the kids at FCV, are not getting a Camp call up.
