Male coworker had a fit about no WiFi.  She said she was uncomfortable and got yelled at and told to calm down - “angry black womaned.” She told him not to talk to her like that and get his shit together.   She was kept off air by management but told she would return.  Then she was told by a coworker that they wanted her fired because she was writing her a tell all book. She was surprised by this because everyone loved her. Coworker said that Danni shouldn’t be so sure as she had sent a dick pic(Danni said this was part of a bit and part of radio culture).

Then she was told to come on radio and say she was coming back. This was a total set up as HR then called and told her she was being investigated for sexual misconduct due to dick pic. She said she had multiple instances of inappropriate conduct by coworkers. Several weeks later she met with upper management who said she was being cleared of misconduct but they needed to make programming changes. She sobbed as this was because psycho host set her up and it wasn’t about programming changes. Host was an evil genius cash cow and could get away with it.

She met with a lawyer who said she had a hell of a case. But she had 2 little girls who she had to protect. She thinks this happened because everyone loves her and listeners called just for her. A talent coach said she was killing it in front of team and this changed dynamic.  It put a target on her back.

She put up with racial bias and lack of sensitivity. She detailed a Very offensive listener call that white males laughed at. This was worst day of her radio career. She called Slim who she was barely talking to and told him she was upset. She was so upset that she overslept. Host was pissed at her. She was accused of going after a coworker. This is because she was a black women.

What happened to her was awful. She would have stuck it out to take care of her babies. But after something awful happens, something great follows.
