The only huge gap I've encountered was under the old math curriculum, when they skipped my older kid over two years of math, so the kid couldn't do long division.[/quote] This was my kid too. Went from 2nd grade math to 4th to 6th. Then repeated 6th. Never got long division. Oh the good old days! Nonetheless he is in AP Math now and ok.[/quote]
