Certainly no one deserves to be murdered.  However, based on what we've read in the paper about her actions, it is safe to say that as time goes on we will all see that the mom made some significant errors in the way she handled the situation and that, in turn, caused the children to make their own bad choices.[/quote]

Desperate? More like a coward that could not face the reality of his actions, an anti-police nut. It is the same as the other shooters who commit suicide after committing terrible crimes. Stop giving him sympathy for his crime. He might not have wanted to "allow" the police to arrest him,  or interrogate him.[/quote]
