No one is trolling anyone.  MLSN is the best youth soccer league the world has ever known!  Watching pro-bound youth players is COMPLETELY different than other leagues.  Being a parent of an MLSN Homegrown starter leaves my partner and I filled with unimaginable pride.  When I am having a bad day and I feel like kicking the dog, a light inside me shines knowing that my son is basically a professional soccer player.  [/quote]

That’s not funny.  My son is turning 16 soon and that age is very sensitive.  If MLSN did not stay BY age cutoffs not only would it hurt his chances to keep his starting role if would not make me feel as much like we are part of the internationally respected professional league that can no longer be ignored.  Can you imagine having someone at a cocktail party asking what our leagues age cutoff was, and having to say they are designed to mirror the school calendar?  I would be horrified!!! This is a professional league for crying out loud!  It breaks my heart to know that some people just refuse to see it.  The proof is in the soccer at the end of the day.  For example have you ever seen an ECNL team beat MLSN, or even come close?  Case closed.   Mic drop.[/quote]
