If it's navy, it's dark navy, not bright blue like JD's. And of course he's wearing a red tie for a patriotic memorial service, that's perfectly acceptable. I don't believe anyone took umbrage with JD's choice of tie.

Why is it a patriotic memorial service? Just because the president likes someone doesn’t mean it’s a patriotic service and looking like the flag is appropriate. It’s a stunt just like any stunt.[/quote]
