Ok, explain to me how SY ie School Year makes sense when all you're looking for is to play professionally.

FYI all the European Acadamies outside of England group by BY. It's just the standard when you're looking to play professionally.

Now think about if you were a college coach. Who would you prefer a pro aligned and trained player or a player grouped by SY? This is why MLS can do whatever they want and it wont matter.[/quote]

Wtf there is no standard. Why is this so hard to wrap your brain around. The kid is either good enough with pro potential or he is not. They do not care when he was born
