No doubt there was some bad lacrosse played at AS by a couple of the DC/VA/MD 2028 teams, but this post from another thread is on target as far as I am concerned:

2025's DC/VA won America Select. Maybe people on this board should stop comparing their daughters' class year to the 25's. That was an exceptional class. They also won School Girls and just lost in Highlight Division Championship at New Balance.

No.  In 2021 when the 2025s were rising 9th graders they went 1-4, only winning their consolation game, which is exactly what the 2028s did over the weekend. [/quote]

Are you really comparing one of the worst classes ever (2028s) to one of the best classes (2025s)?  Stop using the 2025s as a future indicator for the success of the 27 and 28s.[/quote]

What are we talking about here?  2028 is worst ever coast to coast? Midatlantic?  DC/MD/VA? Just NoVa?  American Select team only?  [/quote]

DC and the MD and VA counties around DC plus Loudon are the worst ever 2928 class. Huge drop off in talent from prior years (e.g., the 2025s). [/quote]Zero chance you can predict what's going to happen 900 years from now.  None.[/quote]

And what team does your daughter play for?  Truly hoping I don't have to share a sideline with a clown that maligns 14 year olds who have never played together as a group, and many of whom just finished a great season of lacrosse, and will keep developing.

Capital Blue 2028s will follow a typical Capital Blue trajectory--top 20 the first year, and improving through their 3 years together, with strong recruiting results.  No amount of you saying how bad the class is will change that.

I look forward to coming back here and reminding you of that on page 600-something of this thread.  In the meantime, go jump in a lake.[/quote]
