If you can't compete with Ukrainian farmers who are dealing with extreme hardships, like Russians mining their fields, burning their fields, stealing their harvests, and so on - then you aren't much of a farmer. That’s just your opinion.  Poland and its NATO Allies are not at war.  The EU is not at war.  There’s zero reason why these countries should unnecessarily be burdened more than they already are.
