Her interview is something else. She says she supported Johnny Depp and thinks he proved malice against Amber Heard. She says her real beef with Lively is that her lawyers are advocating for 47.1 in New York State and they didn't involve Burke the way she expected to be. She feels the association of the law with Lively will hurt it. But I can't square these statements because I don't know anyone else who supports 47.1 and doesn't think it would apply to Amber Heard's situation. Yes Heard was an imperfect victim. Most victim's are. But she was a survivor of domestic violence, spoke publicly about it, and was sued for telling the truth. And most people also believe there was a damaging social media campaign to paint her as crazy and dishonest during the campaign (orchestrated by Melissa Nathan!) that skewed the jury result. And then to announce all this on Megyn Kelly, who is trying to resuscitate Harvey Weinstein's reputation? WTF.
She was sued and lost. What part aren’t you understanding? Sorry but are you living in an alternate reality?
When she was sued she won. The lawsuit against Blake was thrown out. That's the basis of the 47.1 motion. The lawsuit she brought was partially dismissed and then settled. This woman supported Blake through all of that but now suddenly doesn't. Why? Did she find something out that made her change her mind? If so, she should tell people. It makes no sense I defend Johnny Depp or announce this on a show that doesn't support the MeToo movement.
Maybe because other than the Blake bots on here, the rest of the world, including Burke, realized that a plaintiff that drops her claims right before trial and with no consideration, likely has weak or fabricated claims.
