A soldier shot and “neutralized” a suspect who hurled stones at troops during an operation in the West Bank village of Beit Duqqu earlier today, the military says.

According to the IDF, the incident occurred amid a violent disturbance that broke out during operational activity in the village, which is located northwest of Jerusalem.

The official Palestinian Authority news agency WAFA reports that clashes erupted during a large-scale Israeli operation in the village, with troops conducting searches of homes and detaining several residents for questioning.
