Please call it already! This is ridiculous!
Calm down.
It’s nerve wracking not knowing. We haven’t done that much shoveling yet and don’t want to kill ourselves today doing it all if we aren’t even having school tomorrow. They should announce it asap.
Why haven't you done any shoveling yet? Even if you don't have to go anywhere, it's much easier to shovel it fresh than waiting until it all freezes over. This is common sense. I don't think schools should be open, but I can't understand people who are going to whine about bad the driveways and sidewalks are if they couldn't be bothered to touch it until it all became a block of ice.
+1 I’m sure these same people want FCPS to send personal plows out to them while also mad that FCPS has a large budget and expect a customized curriculum for their little snowflake (pun intended).
No I think this is someone who loves the idea of them and their kids getting to sit around at home for days. They want to relish in just how bad it is out there... hence the minimal shoveling thus far... and want the cancellation calls to be early so they can fully enjoy doing nothing. Probably a teacher who doesn't want to go in anytime soon.
