Your employer-provided health insurance has a subsidy too, that your employer pays (and, often, writes off at tax time). The ACA is for people who don't have employer-provided plans. And it "survives" fine, the issue is the survival of all the people who will have to drop their insurance because of cost. I am old enough to remember when the ACA (originally "Romney care") was the Republican preference and Dems wanted single payer. Sad that things have regressed so far.[/quote]
