Criticizing Taylor's work is always fair game. That's how art work. It doesn't matter what else you do -- many artists have done a ton of charitable work or are just very exceptionally good people, and they will still get critical reviews (by professional critics and by regular people) because that's the gig. You have the privilege of sharing your artistic work with the world, and letting them receive it as they will.

The random criticism of her relationships or just hating on the way she looks or just vague attacks on her being washed up or middle aged or fake or whatever... some of that is mean girl behavior but it's easy to ignore.

But criticizing her music or her videos or her dancing or the concept of her album? That's always fair game.[/quote]

+1.  I am intrigued by Matty and how he got Taylor down so bad. I watched a video of Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter and Role Model/Tucker Pillsbury all gushing over him. Apparently Halsey’s song “Colors” and Ariana’s “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” were written for him.

Don’t think he is gay, too many hot gfs in his past. As for dorky, many singers and theatre kids come across that way. I’ve met Bono, he is kind of dorky. As are Chris Martin, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer. Jack Antonoff has got to be the biggest dork of them all, and he too was in a band (Fun). It’s prob why Taylor who is a dork herself loves to date and collaborate with that type.
