Governors handle state level matters.  Like signing Virginia bills into law (or not signing).  And they have some sway with Virginia schools.  He did away with masking, which was good.  [/quote]

What is Youngkin doing about Trump's attack on UVA? NOTHING. Look at Newsom pushing back.

Other governors refused to send National Guard to DC to spread mulch.

Youngkin and Sears would both sign a full abortion ban. The VA GOP is insane - in the not-so distant past they trying to force women to have vaginal ultrasounds on women.

Governors all over the US have stood up to Trump in various ways. They don't need to bend over like Youngkin and Sears have.
