It seems like an odd topic to bring up, particularly seeing as he already isn't very popular with many Jews. I'm Jewish and I don't like Mamdani but not really for reasons related to Jewish issues - I was kind of feeling bad that people keep obsessing about that when he is running to be mayor of NYC, not Tel Aviv. But he seems unable to let it die. He should just be saying "I'm running for mayor of NY. I think Jewish people are great. It is not for me to opine on anything related to Israel." He needs to just STFU.[/quote]
