The academy system in the US isn't the greatest generally because we are a young footballing culture. But it's getting better. What we are talking about here is really lesser of evils. If you're choosing among mediocre choices generally because this is all you have you best pick the least mediocre option. DCU isn't even mediocre. It is one of the worst academy systems in the MLS. It has so much potential that isn't being realized because the leadership from top to bottom doesn't get it. [/quote]
